Steps by step to Scan Virus:

Below is the step by step procedure to scan virus on Windows personal computer using Norton antivirus program.

1.  First click Start All Programs Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition as below:

3.  Here select the location to be scan for viruses then click Scan button to start scan virus and get display as below:

Safety Procedures:

1. Before starting any job, make sure that the work place where we are going to service the computer is clean and tidy. It is important so that it will be easier to locate all the things that we need easily.
2. Make sure the work place we are working in is well lighted.
3. Before cleaning the computer, make sure that the power cord is already been turn off and plug out from the power socket.
4. Plug out all computer peripherals that are connected to the casing of the computer.
5. Provide a small box to put in all the screws so that the screws wont get missing.
6. Wear the Anti Static Wrist Strap while handling the computers hardware.
7. When handling some sensitive hardware of computer please do not touch its sensitive parts; for example the memory (RAM) gold finger or electronic chips.
8. Make sure that our hands are not wet while cleaning or handling the hardware. If the hands are wet, it will cause the computer hardware to spoil.

Introduction:

To Perform the duty 01, task 03 on "execute backup activities" require us to backup the entire files on my computer for example like My Document folder & C: Partition (for System Backup). Then is to install or upgrade Operating system, install patch ( to update the Operating System), restore back up, update maintenance records and finally follow the safety procedures.

Execute back up activities using tools and equipment such as storage facility and back up devices so that instruction for back up is acquired, media identified, data identified, data backed up and stored safely.
