Maintain computer peripherals using tools and equipment such as checklist and cleaning materials so that the computer peripherals are identified, the manuals studied, maintenance implemented and recorded.

Performance Standard: Maintain computer system unit (hardware) using tools and equipment such as vacuum cleaner, screwdrivers, pliers and user or service manual so that the computer system unit type is identified, the correct user or service manuals is selected, studied and followed, computer system unit is serviced and maintenance record book is updated.

Performance Standard: Replace Worn out parts using tools and equipment such as screw drivers, long nosed pliers and utility software so that worn-out parts are identified and the replaced parts are installed properly, tested according to specifications and replacements are recorded.
